When can I expect to receive my order?
Typically orders will arrive within 1-3 business days. However, with everything going on in the world today, Canada Post is no longer guaranteeing shipping times and we are seeing some slight delays, so it may be 2-5 business days before your package arrives, depending on your location.
How do I track my order?
Once you place an order you will receive an email confirming your order. Once your order has been shipped (typically within 1 business day), you will receive an email with full tracking details.
Can I change my order after I place it?
Please let us know as soon as possible by emailing email@example.com. We try to be as accommodating as possible but unfortunately if your order has already shipped we cannot make changes to your order.

What are VOCs?
VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compound. These are organic chemicals that have a high vapor pressure at ordinary room temperature. Sounds scary, right? But not to worry, with today’s paint technology, most latex acrylic paint paint has lower VOC levels than ever before.
In fact, according to the Canadian Paint and Coatings Association, the paint and coatings industry has reduced VOC emissions by more than 75 percent in the past ten years. Our paint is formulated to be low odor and is classified as a very low VOC paint. Digby Paints VOC <50g/L and meets MPI Green Performance Standards for paints which is the industry standard for measurement of VOCs.
High five for that!
How long should I wait between paint coats?
Our paint dries to touch in 30 min to 1 hour, but we recommend waiting 3-4 hours between coats.
If you are painting over a darker colour with a lighter colour, for better coverage we recommend waiting 4-6 hours between coats to ensure each coat is completely dry and will form a sound film over multiple coats.
What is the difference between semi-gloss and eggshell? Can I use semi-gloss on my wall?
Great question! Most homes are painted with an eggshell, flat or low lustre finish on the walls and a semi-gloss finish on the trim. Our wall paint is suitable for trim, and our trim paint is suitable for walls, so it comes down to personal preference! Our wall paint is low lustre eggshell so it’s very low sheen and durable.
Do I need to use primer?
Great news! Most jobs don’t require a primer when using our paint as it is paint + primer. Primer should be used on new drywall, when doing a dramatic colour change or on surfaces that have extensive patching. If you are painting over water stains, grease or smoke damaged walls we recommend using a stain-blocking primer.
Can I use your paint in my bathroom?
Yes, both of our finishes work for bathrooms! There are two main things to keep in mind when painting your bathroom. First, we always recommend proper surface preparation before you start to paint. This includes washing all surfaces with bleach and water to remove any surface stains or mildew prior to painting. Ensure you let the surface dry before you paint.
The most important thing is to allow it to remain dry for 3-7 days after painting. This is not always possible and showering with the door open for the first week will help the paint to cure properly.
Do I have to register or subscribe to buy paint?
